I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be leading a conversation about the joy, trials, frustrations, burnout, and bravery that come with working for local communities at the American Planning Association Division I ‘s conference next week in Saratoga Springs, New York! I’ll be sharing the stage with Anne Krieg, one of the WTWM authors, and we’ll be using passages from the book to open up conversations about what it’s really like to work in communities and how to manage the pressures.
If you’re attending the conference, please make sure to join us! If you’d like to pick up the book for your own summer reading ( a simple read and small enough to stick in your pocket) check it out here. And if you’d like to have a discussion like this at your next conference, workshop, retreat, etc., drop me a line at della.rucker@wiseeconomy.com. Thanks!
